Keep your accounts separate and know which account you are using!
A lot of us have multiple Google accounts that we use. I have 14 accounts! It could get pretty confusing if I did not sign in to Chrome (the browser). Most people just sign in to Google (the website) and that is where the confusion can start.
I am going to walk you through how to....
1. Sign out of all your Google accounts.
2. Sign into each of your accounts into a separate Chrome browser.
3. Use the power of switching between Chrome browsers!
First, let's look at the issue...
1. While you are in the Google website, click on your picture in the top right.
3. You want to sign into Chrome, so click on the little icon up at the top your your browser page.
5. Type in a name. I use Home or Work because it will append onto the account name. Click Add.
6. Click Sign in
9. Now you are logged into the browser with that account. You can check by clicking on the little icon at the top your browser.
10. You may (or may not) have an Error message by the three dots (which always means More options) at the top of your browser window. Click on the three dots.
11. At the top, you will have some extensions that may need your permission to enable or remove. Read each one carefully before making your choice. Too many extensions can be problematic.
By using this method, all your tabs that you were using while in that account will open and be just where you left off! As a suggestion, change the Theme for each account by going into each account, clicking on the three dots at the top, select Appearance from the left pane menu, and then select Theme. There are some pretty cool ones, so take your time!

Here is an animated Gif of the whole process...
Here is what it looks like when you switch between accounts (notice that I have different themes to help me identify which account I am in, I also add in a theme for an account the I had missed!)...
