What is IORAD?





IORAD makes explaining step-by-step computer instructions easier. Here is an example created by Sue Sprinkle to explain to students how to log in to Classkick and create their portfolio accounts.

How to join ClassKick as a student

Super cool, super clear, and connects the verbal instructions to the physical act of doing it!

Access IORAD from both the web or add an extension to your Chrome browser. The benefit of accessing the application from the web is that you can capture both web and Desktop. The benefit of the extension is accessibility but you are only able to capture from the web. Either way, make a free account!

1. Go to  IORAD , click Sign Up.

2. Click Sign Up with Google.

3. Choose your school Google account.

4. That is it! Now you can add it to Chrome at this point and/or start capturing.

5. Open the application that you want to capture steps for.

6. Go to IORAD  and click +Capture in the top left corner.

7. IORAD  will instruct you, step by step, as you go.

You can use voice over with a provided voice but there is a limit to how many times you can use that. So choose wisely (unless you upgrade, but I really like free)!
